2.1 The Rules replace the previous rules of the Institute.
2.2 All officers, elections and appointments (including of or to the Council and committees of the Council) registers, registrations, records, instruments, delegations, plans and generally all acts of authority that originated under the previous rules of the Institute and are subsisting and in force on the day on which the Rules are adopted shall continue and be deemed to be effective and in full force under the Rules.

If so, you may be eligible for Affiliate membership and Registered Legal Executive status. If you are currently studying the legal executive qualification you can apply for Support membership.
